The Door Drop industry does not want to deliver doordrop items to households who don't want to receive doordrop items so we actively encourage those who feel this way to opt out for a number of reasons:
To opt out of Royal Mail door to door delivery you will need to contact to request a 'door-to-door opt-out form': This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Freepost RRBT-ZBXB-TTTS Once the opt out form is completed and returned you should stop receiving unaddressed items delivered by Royal Mail within six weeks. It will mean that the Royal Mail will not deliver any unaddressed items to the household concerned. There seems to be a myth that if you opt out then you will miss out on important local information from your counciil or local authority. We dont believe these enitities are big users of Royal Mail to disseminate this kind of information so ignore this myth. In todays age of multi-media the local authorities can communicate via many channels including their website so you are unlikely to miss out on anything. |
